Ah, it was going to be one of those. Likely, it would have been better if Loki just dismissed the illusion and gave up. If Thor wasn’t inclined to speak, nothing would force the matter. One sentence hardly seemed like an effort, though, and should it come up later Loki wanted to be able to believably claim that he’d made real effort.

So he continued as if he hadn’t expected a response, “If you’ll recall, I said I wouldn’t be your follower. You don’t give me orders or decide what I do. Not now, not in the future.”
