And... yes, Frigga would have been proud of his skill, but Loki knew very well that the Queen of Asgard would have been disappointed by his purpose at the same time.
Why comment on the pride and not the disappointment? What did that mean?
He drank again, then forced himself to stop, because nearly half the bottle not even five minutes in was far over his usual pace. But a suspicion had occurred, because his question had been 'how did our sister escape hell' and Thor was talking about Odin. "Continue."
