Loki had a few weeks to process their father's death that Thor didn't; Thor didn't know how Loki handled his father's death because he wasn't there. But now he was there. And he should do something. But what could he really do?

Thor finishes the drink and sets it aside, then crawls along the bed and settles down right next to his brother. He pushes an arm back behind his brother's back and pulls Loki towards him in a squeeze that doesn't quite make it all the way to a hug.

"It's okay," he says, and even Thor's not sure if he's saying that things are all right or that it's okay for Loki not to be. Somehow, though, it feels like the right thing to say.

At the least, it was something to say.
